World Breastfeeding Week
The Women, Infants, Children program (WIC) and the New Mexico Breastfeeding Task Force will host its World Breastfeeding Week Events at all WIC locations.
World Breastfeeding Week Events aims to strengthen local support for breastfeeding and to improve the health of children and women in the community. It is one of many similar events that take place annually during World Breastfeeding Week (August 1st – 7th). Countries around the world will be celebrating this year’s international theme which is “Closing the Gap”.
